Socially-aware AI  ·  Data you control

AI that actually knows you

Devana builds socially-aware agents on a personal-data layer that answers only to you. Your relationships, your history, your context — finally put to work, without ever leaving your control.

The data layer

A new foundation
for personal AI

Before an assistant can do anything genuinely useful, it needs to know your world — and today that means handing your life to whoever built the app. Devana flips it. Our foundational layer is a personal data escrow: a single, unified place that holds and governs your information, so agents can act on it while you keep the keys.

  • Escrowed, never extracted

    Your data lives in a layer that belongs to you — not copied into a dozen company silos you can't see into or pull back.

  • Granular, revocable consent

    Grant access by domain, scope it to a single task, set it to expire, and revoke it the instant you change your mind.

  • One layer, many agents

    The same governed foundation powers every agent you choose to run — so your context is portable instead of trapped per app.

Ownership, not access

Your data answers
to you. Only you.

Grant it, scope it, revoke it. Every Devana agent acts on your terms — or it doesn't act at all. Control isn't a buried setting here; it's the whole foundation the assistant is built on.

The assistant

Hire. Connect. Plan.

Meet Devana's first agent — an early socially-aware assistant. Because it reads the context you've chosen to share, it doesn't help with abstractions. It helps with the people and decisions actually in your life.

Hire

Find your
next great hire

Point the assistant at a role and it works outward through the network you already trust — surfacing a genuinely strong candidate from your real world, not a stranger from a job board.

  • Reasons over who you know and how
  • Uses contacts & work history you approve
  • Access ends when the task does
Connect

Meet
someone real

Looking for a partner? Devana works through context you actually trust — shared people, places and history — to suggest a real connection, with your data never handed to a swipe-and-sell app.

  • Grounded in your social context
  • Your information stays in your vault
  • You decide what's ever shared
Plan

Run your
calendar

Hand off the coordination. Devana schedules events around the people and priorities that matter, because it understands who's who — turning “find a night that works” into a plan everyone can make.

  • Knows who matters for each event
  • Reads calendar only while it's working
  • Nothing booked without your say-so
How it works

Four moves,
one principle

Devana links two things most companies keep apart: infrastructure that gives you ownership of your personal data, and the agents built to act on it. Here's the loop, end to end.

01 Escrow

Your data is held in a layer that's yours. A unified personal-data escrow holds and governs your information — a foundation that belongs to you, not a silo inside someone else's product.

02 Govern

You set the rules for every request. Grant, scope and revoke exactly what any agent can touch, for exactly as long as you choose — with a clear audit of who used what, and when.

03 Act

Socially-aware agents do the work. With the context you've approved, agents read your situation and act on your behalf — surfacing a hire, a match, a plan — aware of your relationships, never blind to them.

04 Build

Developers create on the same foundation. Outside teams build their own products on the unified personal-data layer — getting real context to work with, while users keep ownership and control throughout.

For developers

Build on data
people trust

Build applications on top of Devana's unified personal-data layer. Your users keep ownership and control; you get the consented context to make genuinely personal software — running on the very same foundation that powers our own assistant.

  • Request scoped, consented access

    Ask for exactly the data domain you need, for a stated purpose and a fixed window. The user approves it in their own vault.

  • Never hold the data yourself

    No hoarding, no liability mountain. Context stays governed by the layer — you act on it without it ever becoming yours to keep.

  • The same layer as our agents

    Ship on the foundation Devana builds on too — socially-aware products on controlled data, without rebuilding the trust layer yourself.

const grant = await devana.request({
  scope: ["contacts:read", "work_history:read"],
  purpose: "Find a strong next hire",
  ttl: "1h",  // expires automatically
});

// user approves in their vault — data never leaves it
const result = await grant.agent.run(
  "Surface the best fit from my network"
);

The thesis

Two layers.
One rule: you're
in control.

Devana's whole approach rests on a simple bet: user-controlled personal data is the prerequisite for a capable personal assistant. So we built both halves — a data-governance platform that gives individuals ownership of the information an assistant needs, and the socially-aware agents that run on top of it.

It's one stack with a single principle running through every layer: the person at the center decides. The data belongs to them; the agents serve them; developers build for them — all on the same controlled-data foundation.
